I see a lot of similarities over here. Many are proud to admit they are no longer religious. And many that are seem to spend there time publicly talking about what we need to change about our religion. I join you in prayer.

Colleen, you raise a really good point. Evangelization needs to start at home!

Shirley, thank you for the motivation!

God bless all of you, and thank you for taking the time to post a comment!Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11166363205001461183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717500353710337060.post-36305682655241612422014-11-11T10:22:16.008-05:002014-11-11T10:22:16.008-05:00Yes we have to lead by example. We also must not remain silent, although it is much easier to just pray for others than it is to step up and publicly defend our faith!Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15454110560303310751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1717500353710337060.post-20793149803011526302014-11-09T13:13:00.507-05:002014-11-09T13:13:00.507-05:00Sadly, Michael, I think that scientist is probably...Sadly, Michael, I think that scientist is probably right. I see signs of indifference, and ignorance, every day in my country. Here regular going to church is only about 5% of the population.

Often on TV and radio you see people who can, and do, influence others, especially the young, proudly proclaiming that they don't believe in God; or "In a bearded old man sitting up there on a clouds" as I heard lately.

The audience laughs, but the message is left there in vulnerable minds, that to believe is not fashionable, it is not modern, and most of all it is somewhat stupid and naive.

Some politicians as well as celebrities of all kind make it known widely they don't believe in God.

A number of businesses have forbidden/discouraged religious discussions or wearing symbols like a Crucifix, at work.

Christianity is in retreat over here.

Prayers needed.

God bless.Victor S E Moubarakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04280638667651857296noreply@blogger.com
