Q & A

"Who do you say I am?"

Jesus asked.

Peter answered Him.

I've read that passage many times, but I just realized it is as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago.

The truth is, there are thousands of people in the world today asking themselves, their family, God - or anyone who will listen - who Jesus is.

Maybe they were never taught. Maybe they forgot. Or maybe they just have a hard time understanding.

They need someone to "pull a Peter", and give them the answer.

I'd love to do it.

So does anyone have any ideas how to reach them?

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. God Bless.

Or sometimes people's view of who Jesus really is gets distorted- I know mine did. For me being finally able to answer as Peter did came when I began reading and praying on the Gospels. Now how to get people to that point is often the hard part.
Maybe simply "pulling a Peter" will get them started.
Happy Father's Day.

I don't know if you are a father or God father Michael but if you are I would like to wish you a very happy and blessed day.

I like to turn that question around and ask Jesus who He says that I am.

We reach people just as you are doing ... by Blogging, by having a website, by writing about it and by living our lives as Jesus would want us to.

You'd be surprised how many people get to Christian Blogs and websites just by accident - or God incident. And maybe ... just maybe ... one of them gets interested to learn more.

God bless.

Karinann - good point - I'm always amazed how much I grow just from reading the bible. And I know how long it took me to get to that part ...

Carol - thank you so much!

Anne - Oooo ... interesting flip there. How interesting!

Victor - Thanks for the reminder. Good motivation to keep writing!
